Available to those on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia, who want to learn the art of lost wax jewellery making. This in-person workshop is perfect for beginners and those who have never used jewellery tools before. You'll learn how to create a simple ring and have it cast in silver or gold, depending on your budget. I’ll guide you through the entire process with hands-on support in a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. I keep things simple, using clear instructions and avoiding complex jewellery jargon, making it easy for everyone to follow along.

You’ll learn quickly and have plenty of fun using simple, beginner-friendly tools. I’ll guide you through creating beautiful jewellery with minimal setup. Whether you're after a unique day out with friends or looking to start a new creative career, this hands-on workshop will have you hooked in no time!

Even if you have never dabbled in any form of jewellery making before, this workshop is perfect for you! I will explain everything you need to know in simple, easy to follow steps.

✔ A quick overview of lost wax casting

✔ Understanding the essential tools

✔ Creating a basic ring model

✔ How to send your piece for casting & what to expect (I will send your first wax model off for you)

Important Notes: 

• This workshop does not include melting or pouring metal or refining the finished piece. Instead, you’ll learn how to create a ring from wax - the step before sending your design to a casting house for metal pouring.
  
  
• You’ll be working with hot tools and mild fumes in a well-ventilated space. Safety gear, including masks, will be available for your comfort.
  
  
• Casting fees (the cost to turn your wax model into metal) are additional. Since precious metal prices fluctuate daily, the final cost of your ring will depend on its weight and the type of metal you choose. An estimate will be provided on the day.
  
  
• You have the option to attend a second workshop to learn how to refine and polish your metal piece yourself. Alternatively, you can choose to have me refine it for you for an additional fee.
