Cast in place stones are heat resistant and durable, having been tested in my own lost wax casting processes. However, I cannot guarantee that they will be free from cracking during your specific firing process. If your stone does crack, it may be the result of your wax mold, how you have poured your metal, or how the casting house has poured or quenched the metal. It’s important to confirm with your casting house that they are equipped to process cast in place jewellery. Cast in place at your own risk.
